Removes it from your records only, e.g. a key issued by mistake. The key keeps working on that PC until its expiry date: an offline POS cannot be switched off remotely. If it replaced an older key, that one becomes current again.

Renaming changes your records only. Keys already issued keep the name they were signed with.
